The first neighborhood

New homes with an unmistakably Hershey look.

Think of the homes on Hershey’s older streets, where a tidy row of windows gives way to a steep gable and a deep front porch. For Founders Grove, Milton Hershey School and Hankin Group are drawing on the Colonial and Victorian architecture of the town’s 1930s building era.

Between Waltonville and Bullfrog Valley roads, the first 12 acres will bring together for-sale townhomes and flats. The partners marked the start of this residential phase with a ceremonial groundbreaking on November 6, 2026. The neighborhood is announced for fall 2027. Pricing, sales release dates and individual move-in dates have yet to be published.

Founders Grove’s announced townhomes and flats are for purchase. The broader 245-acre plan brings homes, Main Street-style shops and restaurants together around landscaped parks and gathering spaces. Planned paths would lead from neighborhood sidewalks to the existing trails along Bullfrog Valley, Wood and Waltonville roads.
